HELSINKI

Will be presenting a new paper Radically Quiet at the fifth conference of the Society For Minimalist Music: Minimalism Unbounded! 23-27 Sept in Turku and Helsinki Finland. Have already arrived in Helsinki where I have thus far seen a lecture by Phill Niblock and will see performances of his work on Saturday at Korjaamo. Tonight jouhikko master Pekko Kappi. I believe the Minimalism Unbounded! conference is free for the public to attend so if you're in Turku or Helsinki you should drop in. I will be presenting my paper at 1:30-3pm session in the Auditorio at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki on the 26th Sept. In further news I have two performances in Helsinki coming up: 25/9 at Nikolai 2 - a boat that circles Helsinki's centre. Duo free improvisatory performance with cellist Sergio Castrillon. DETAILS 27/9 at Krunan Keikka #13, Krunan Mesta, Helsinki. Solo set. Will be occurring as part of the Pixelache Festival. DETAILS
My appearance at the Minimalism Unbounded! conference has been made possible with an ArtStart grant from the Australia Council for the Arts.
