Nils Okland, clear coke bottles and Tapes

This time I started the post with something to do with someone other than myself but can't help but also mention a couple of things about my own activities at the moment. Firstly thanks to any readers of this blog who may have attended the People's Republic of Australasia performance on Sunday in Sydney. Now the big news is the vinyl version of The Scrapes new album The Songs of Baron Samedi is now up for pre-order from CONQUEST OF NOISE records. COKE BOTTLE CLEAR (I wish I didn't have invoke the name of that revolting company to describe it but that's what they call it) BLACK VINYL Each person who pre-orders get a download copy within 24 hours so jump on in. I am also putting out a tape of solo violin works on the excellent CABIN FLOOR ESOTERICA label. I noticed the proprietors have listed me on there. They do some really special limited cassette released with handmade jewel boxes and other bits and pieces. Recently put out some noise works by the fascinating violin scraper Troy Schafer.
