Around the 2:30 mark the chilling fiddle of Jesper Jarold. He pokes his scraping head in and out from time to time. This stuff had a dramatic effect on my teenage brain. Another fiddle riddled number from this 1992 At The Gates album The Red In The Sky Is Ours....if the Death Metal is too much skip to last few minutes for the Swedish fiddle-style piece "The Season To Come"...

Ecocide appear to be some kind of US based Blackened Crust band with some serious Anarchist leanings. Right up your humble narrator's alley. A bit rough around the edges but a very interesting context for the violin that reminds me a lot of the old At The Gates albums like "The Red in the Sky is Ours" which featured violin prominently in their death metal madness.
